Explorers Package

The Explorers Package is designed to answer the two questions most people have about their family history:

Who are my ancestors, and where did they come from?

We build a comprehensive family tree beginning with one of your grandparents and research every branch of that section of your family. We continue each family line as far back as available records allow — until we reach a dead end or identify the ancestors who first came to America.

Every family tree is different. Some branches may end after only a few generations, while others can stretch back to the earliest chapters of American history — sometimes reaching families connected to colonial America, Jamestown, Plymouth, and other early settlements.

Many Explorers projects uncover dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of ancestors.

You’ll finally see just how deep your American roots run.

Along the way, we identify important details including your ancestors’ names, dates and places of birth and death, immigration information, and the places they lived and migrated throughout the country.

What You’ll Receive

Your Explorers Package includes three professional genealogy reports:

• Pedigree Chart – A visual overview that makes it easy to see your family lines and how your ancestors connect.
• Ancestor Report – A detailed record of the ancestors we discover, including names, dates, locations, and family relationships.
• Ancestor Highlight Report – A summary of the most interesting discoveries we encounter while building your tree.

The Explorers Package focuses on discovering who your ancestors were and where they came from. If certain ancestors or family lines capture your interest, those discoveries can then become the starting point for the deeper biographical research included in our Pioneer Package.

The Ancestor Highlight Report

As we research your family tree, we often uncover clues and discoveries that deserve special attention.

Your Ancestor Highlight Report may include things such as:

• Civil War veterans and Revolutionary War patriots
• Successes, tragedies, and remarkable family stories
• Important historical documents and publications
• Connections to major events in American history
• Countries your immigrant ancestors came from
• The states and regions your family migrated through
• Other compelling facts and discoveries uncovered during our research

This report helps you quickly identify the ancestors and branches of your family that interest you most — making it easier to decide where you may want us to dig deeper with a Pioneer Package.
